Bosch Platinum 4

I just put them in my 2005 Z-71 and the engine seems to idle a little rougher. Can these not be used I have used them in a car of mine and they work great. The truck has 53,000 on it and I would not have replaced if it had not been for them working so well in the other vehicle. Thanks

Some other guys might disagree with me but I think they aren't that good. My brother-in-law bought them for his burb and it ran like crap, I told him to stick with delco, ngk, or autolite. I've heard other stories about people putting them in and the engine runs/idles a little rougher. it seems most guys on here use AC Delco.

you beat me to it. sounds like you don't have them gapped properly.

What did you set the gap to?

you beat me to it. sounds like you don't have them gapped properly.

You don't gap the Bosch Platinum +2s or +4s. You only have to gap a standard plug.

On a second note, did you replace the wires at the same time. It takes more spark to make these plugs fire the same as a single IMO. I had the +2s on my 98 and it did run crappy til I put some MSD 8mm wires on it. After new wires it ran alot better.

Another gimmick plug I see.....I had the same kind of issues when giving the iridiums a try. From now on it's NGK TR55's and nothing else....

I use the TR55GP in my '02 6.0 and they work great.

Yea after that I learned that if the vehicle isn't high performance with a bunch of ignition mods don't bother with fancy plugs.
