Bluetooth For 2001 Sierra

Anyone found a really nice kit to integrate Bluetooth into the factory radio (standard single CD, no On-Star) on a 2001 Sierra 2500HD? I've found several sources that have kits for 2003 and up. My ideal solution is something that kills the music on call receipt, uses the truck stereo speakers for the phone audio output, has a simple touch switch to answer / hang-up and comes with the mic and interface cables.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

I ended up buying a Pioneer BT980 (I think that was the model) and I also bought the iPOD kit as well. It works great and was pretty easy to install. I have the microphone on my A pillar and everyone can hear me clearly. It sounds really clear as well when coming through my JL Audio speakers. I plan on installing some Hush Mat so I don't hear that much road noise (and noise from my tires) so I will not need to turn up the volume as well. I am using a Treo wx700 phone (my office gave it to me to you use) and the Pioneer picked it up with no issues. Talking hands-free while in Atlanta traffic is a breeze now!

Good luck on finding a factory setup. I tried for a while and gave up but I think this is a lot better than factory.

GatorFan,

Thanks for the advice! Here in California they plan to really clamp down on cell phone use w/o handsfree and I hoped to get something like the system we have in our Lexus. Not sure I'm up for the Pioneer installation on a 2001 that does mainly local stuff. I'm happy to see that Bluetooth is finally coming the the GM pickups, I told the dealer here that not having that feature would be a deal killer for GM consideration if I ever need another truck. On the later, I still love my 2500HD w/8.1 L even with the gas prices and I just sold my '72 C20 big block / 4 speed with nearly 240k mi on it.
