Trailer Wiring Plug....

Getting ready to go out this weekend with the RV, so I decided to hook up and give everything a try to make sure everything was working. Well as expected I had a problem...(always seems something will go wrong). I was experienceing intemittand connection on the 7-pin plug. I pulled the plug out of the back (It's the factory plug) and had to bend all the contacts on the truck harness (not the 7-pin plug) so they would make connection. These are VERY small contacts and I expect that they will break soon. questions:

 

1) assuming these break is this harness replaceable? I assume it goes to some other junction block, but I did not investigae it much. If so anyone have the part number?

 

2) If the harness is not replaceable anyone gotten a generic 7-pin plug to work in the GM mounting bracket? I like the location of the factory bracket and if I can get an off-the-shelf 7-pin plug to work I would rather go that route.
