Instrument Cluster Light On

When I start the truck ,the headlights turn on .ok! I usually turn it off because I don't like daytime running headlights.

When I shift reverse and then drive ...the instrument cluster light turns on ,even if the sun is shinning outside.The tail lights don't.

When I come back to my garage ,and put on park ,the light turns off about 3 seconds after it.

Is it normal on 2008 models? I had the same ltz 2007 and it didn't.

From what I've read on here its normal for the '08 trucks,Although I haven't confirmed it with any of the trucks we have at work.

my 08 does the same, your all good, or we are both screwed, depending on how you look at it.
