2500 Lift Kit On A 1500

hello all

I have a buddy who is giving me a 4 in. tuff country 2500 lift kit. will the sub frame and brackets and stuff fitt on the 1500. I know i will need new shocks and leafs, but i was wondering about the other stuff.

They have different frames, so I don't imagine that it would bolt up.

I think the two are totally different. Check the manufacturer's website and you'll see completely different part numbers for them (I bet).

I'm not sure. If its a 2500LD they might be the same frame. If its the HD then if would be a different frame, but it could be close. If he is just giving it to you I would sell it and buy the right one for your truck. You wouldn't really want to mod the suspension without knowing what you are doing.
