Roll & Lock Covers

I am considering a Roll and Lock bed cover for a new 2008 seirra crew cab. anyone have one ? I like the fact that the can't be opened with a knife but I am worried that it will be difficult to close/open when Ice and snow comes. thanks

I had a Roll N Lock on my 95 Sierra. That is until the truck was stolen and the cover was destroyed. I received the truck back (cops found it 10 miles away) and the thieves used a pry bar to separate the cover from the tailgate. I absolutely loved it and would have bought another one if they hadn't quit making them in the aluminum finish. Now they are only available in Black and that is not an option out here in Arizona.

 

That brings me to the next point. We don't see much cold weather here so I can't respond to your snow/ice question. But, I'm sure others can and will.
