Check all of your blinker bulbs, and other bulbs while you're at it.... could be a so-called sneak cirquit.

I once owned a truck that began shutting the cruise control off upon using the blinker for a lane change. Had me baffled for a while, unitil I realized I had a blinker bulb that was burned out. Replaced the bulb, and the problem went away as well.

Well you dont have to change to synthetic, you can use dino blinker fluid every 4000 miles, the synthetic lets you go to 9000, but for that 75 percent more for the synthetic, I only use dino blinker fluid.

well, if all else fails, the blinker pressure should be 30psi, or more (especially to keep mileage up)

It's the Warning Flasher Module. There might be a TSB on it. Anyway it's mounted under the knee bolster. If you pull off the Fuse cover on the left side of the dash you will see the fuse block. It's a black relay on the oppisite side of the fuse block 1x3 inches. You will have to remove the plastic trim around the I/p cluster, and the knee bolster.(2 7mm screws, and 10mm bolt on the parking brake release handle. 89.00 bucks at the Dealer or 50 bucks @ GMparts .com Changed mine 2 months ago for the same problem.

1/2 hour tops.
