When are 2009 Tahoe & Suburban hitting the dealerships. I am looking into getting a 2009 Tahoe with the 6 speed auto but I was wondering if anybody knew when they will be available at the dealership?

I was told by my dealer today that they can place orders in the system as of this week, and they figure 6-8 weeks before they hit the lots. I'd imagine that's probably true for stock orders as well as custom orders....

Cool, I'll check in a couple of weeks to see when they arrive at the dealership. Why does the 6.2L in the Tahoe produces only 380hp, but the Escalade make 403hp?
