Well, My mom's car broke down today. She had to get it towed back home. Don't know if it can be fixed or not. Looks like I'm not going to be going anywhere for awhile (In that car atleast).

Good luck my friend! Cause your gonna need it to find one of those. If you want my advice, I'd stick to a truck from the 73-87 body style for your first vehicle. Most all of the trucks from the 67-72 era aren't gonna be in acceptable shape as a daily driver, and still be something you can afford. It would be much easier to find a early 80's K10 in good enough shape to trust it. (mechanically wise)

Old trucks are a dime a dozen in this area, but if you want one with body panels, now you are talking for a tough find. Dang you IDOT!!!!!

I'm assuming he wants body panels Jp! LOL I'm glad they don't throw quite as much salt here in Kansas, atleast you can get a fairly decent truck around here. Might be some rust, but still fixable.

You had said "mom" likes the Xterra. I think a good used one should be in your price range. The local Honda dealer here advertised on the radio a used 2001 Xterra w/13K miles for $19,900.
