Different Lift Question

So i see alot that guys are talking about how sometimes if they get a lift and the max tires they can fit, they only rub in reverse, or in reverse at full turn. What makes them rub then and not in forward or in full turn forward?

When you drive in reverse at full lock the tire will catch on the front part of your wheel well. Your tires can still rub when full turn forward on the rear part of the wheel well. Hope this answers your problem. Sorry for the crude drawing.

not really a problem for me. just me being curious as to why for some guys it only happens in reverse only.
