I Did It...new Owner: 2008 Gmc Sierra 1500 2wd

I'm finally back in a GMC! My last GMC was a 98 Sonoma Highrider ( ZR2 option )

Went thru three Dodge Ram's since then, selling my last Dodge in March.

I downsized to a Kia Rio due to gas prices, but I hated that.

I only kept that car 3 months, and it just did not work out

So now I'm back in a full size truck.

I'll just have to deal with the fuel prices

I had been shopping all the dealers close to me, but this truck kept calling me to it

because of the 22" wheels

Very pleased so far

Yes, brand new. It had 42 miles on it.

2 suggestions: de-badge, and DEFINITELY 2" drop shackles.

The wife was not real happy...at first

She said you just bought the Kia. All I said was it is'nt working out,

and that's all I told her till I showed up in the truck.

But she drove it today, and she won't admit it, but she likes it

I debadged the Hemi I had, so I probably will do that too..

And I definately need to get it leveled out with the drop shackles or something.

I'll be searching for the best way to do that soon!

nice... had a similiar experience. Gave up F*rd full size trucks because I was annoyed at the (lack of) quality.

Tried a small SUV... ditched it, bought GMC FS truck... and NO LOOKING BACK.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. You'll love it. Congratulations.

LOL.... my wife will NEVER admit it, but she likes my truck too. She drove it once, matted it, and all i heard was "oh my god, this thing is fast"....
