Here is what I am looking at... A used/new tractor like this for work and I know that the 4n1 bucket is about useless on this thing in comparison to what a bobcat will so for grading purposes...

I have looked at some Ford tractors that are restored w/bush hogs for around 5k... But I want a diesel and I think most of the fords were gassers..

I am not partial to either Kubota or Massey Ferguson but I would like it to be hydro static drive.. I have used a clutch driven Massey and it sucked!!!

I have a lot of personal needs for a bush hog for about 2 times a month, and in my development about a 2 acre field that will need it 3 to 4 times a year...

I also have a bunch of bush hog contracts that I need to get to in the next month or so and I am getting tired of borrowing and renting...

If I went with a Kubota I really like model 3710... If it had a back hoe I would use it but I dont need it and a 4n1 bucket, cause it really is useless other than picking up stuff... But useless for grading for grading for sure...

The only other thing that I thought about was getting a Bobcat 873 and getting a bush hog for it but I think that I tractor would be more practical right now!!!

Any advice would be helpful!!!

Thanks

i think a skid steer would be alot better...

See the thing about the skid steer is that I could easily spend 25k on a machine with e buttload of hours being anywhere from like 1500-2000 hrs... And I couldnt use it for lawn aeration... And thats a big money maker about this time....

yea its just nice cause bobcat has a TON of attachments and they are more agile...

my dad has a S300, which is really nice... it used to be the biggest but now they have a S330....

Bush Hogs..?? Maybe try the RNC in Minneapolis-St. Paul.. :nono:

DENIED

That was too easy... :D:D:dunno:

Yeah and it wasnt funny AT ALL! Thats why you get a red card and you get to play the rest of them game behind the bleachers while 3 of the bigger kids take turns kicking you in the balls..

+ Plus I guess you didnt know anything about tractors and skid steers :rollin::rollin:

Is that bigger than a T300>? with the tracks... I run that and a 873 and a 331 Excavator...

A skid steer sounds like something that might happen behind the bleachers... :dunno:

Brian, I thought you were looking for a bush hog!!! That thing on craigslist is just a lawn mower!!!! I don't know how much you need a bush hog for, but I would look for the heavyest one you can find weight wise. The more meat in them the longer they will last. The best one we ever had was a John Deere 1509, it had four blades on each stump jumper and ran at 1000 Pto RPM. If you could push it over you could cut it up. Worked just like a brush chopper. Sometimes when I could not run over a tree I could back over it and push it down and cut it up. :D
