Worst mod fad of 2008 HAS to be the FAKE Porthole. It ranks right up there with chrome fuel filler doors and three bladed pink wiper blades on my all time idiotic mod list. If you have these on your truck, please begin flogging yourself and wait until I tell you to stop.

Hey, I have one of these (GM stuck it on the vehicle)!!!!!

 

Actually it came with the truck. I'm too cheap, lazy, and it does not bother me enough a to go buy a replacement black one from the dealer. Jeff, you want to buy it off me to match your bug deflector.

You need to quit taking it personally. My coment honestly wasn't directed at you personally, I wasn't trying to bust yours or anyone else's balls here. I'm tired of ALL the bogus "fuel efficiency" mods in general. At least you're just experimenting and trying things on your own. The ones that tweak me off for real are the assholes selling snake oil to people that just don't know any better.

Truck Nuts, I carry pink spray paint i my truck, when I see them on trucks in parking lots I spray the brass ones, Or use the knife to cut the rubber ones off.

Jim, I got to call you on the fake holes the oval ones that come on buicks, that has been used for years on them as a way to tell a buick from chevs or even pontaics. Just like round tail lights on vettes, the one year they went away from them GM got a lot of long time buyers raisen cane with them about the tail lights.
