Investment Into Gm?

Disclaimer: Just creating this as I thought of it on my drive home today; curious to hear the opinions of others. I'm not making, nor would recommend anyone making investment decisions on this any discussion that occurs within this thread.

 

I've been watching GM's stock price for awhile and it currently sits near it's 52-week low (current price as of today = 11.42; low = 8.81). I started thinking, what would GM have to prove to me before I would invest in them (not in a new truck, but in them as a company). The first couple thing that came to mind include:

- Change in business model and lay out a realistic strategy.

- Shed itself of the unions.

- Show that it can anticipate market trends; and not be a late follower.

 

Curious to what others think; who knows, GM may just be monitoring this board.

I've bought some recently...But I'm hardly betting the farm on it.

 

In other words...Don't buy a LOT of it.
