Thank you for the response, but...

Could you be a tad more specific? What was horrible, the ride quality, increased vibration, increased roll charactistics?? What??

From what I'm reading the ride quality is unaffected by the RC 3" kit, so was something defective or improperly installed on your friends truck?

As for raising my Denali, I intended to do so before time of sale. If I knew I could not raise it then I would not have purchased it. It's all personal preference...

I raised my hummer a little, but corrected everything in the suspension with Cognito UCA's, longer Bilstien shocks and so forth. Well at 75mph which I almost never do, a little vibration starts. My wife now says the truck is junk and she can't stand it! Is this more the same??

Was this on a GMT900 Denali?

Do they even fit? I am not sure if the Denali's have the same suspension set-ups due to it being AWD. Im going to look it up...brb

OK, looks to have the same set-up, so it should fit without any problems, any vibrations included. Go for it man.

P.S. while searching, I found this badboy!! http://rides.truckinweb.com/ride/1006131/b...a/photos/2.html

I guess I get to be the test pilot on this one. So, I get home from Afghanistan the end of Oct. Should have that puppy installed by mid Nov :-))

Shouldn't have any problems. You will probably be passing my dad mid-flight. He leaves here Oct 3rd for Fort Bliss in TX, then heads back over for his 3rd tour... thanks for serving man!

You're welcome.

I've been in Iraq and Afghanistan constantly since 2005. I'll go home for a month or two In Nov, then redeploy to Iraq. Lots of folks are spending a lot of time away from home these days!

Now I have a 4 month old and he is going away again. I might just break his legs next week. HAHA, hes DONE after this though. Retired from everything so its cool.

God Bless him!

That's a soldier's life allright. Bad thing is once you get it in your blood, it's permanently there. I retired from the Army, then took up flying jets for a major airline. It was absolutely the most boring job I can possibly imagine. Then dealing with the guys who occupy the cockpit who weren't former military was a unique challenge in its self (both for me and for them :-)) They were only interested in the almighty $$$ and themselves.

When those buildings got knocked down all I wanted to do was get back in a helicopter and back to the business at hand. We're most thankful for our families who probably have to suffer the most with all the alone time. But when you experience and learn to deal with a thing like that, you, too are forever changed!
