1990 Gmc Sierra Makes Terrible Shreek Upon Brake Application...help P

Hey guys, new to this forum....

So I bought 1990 GMC Sierra yesterday. It worked and ran awesome yesterday, also it is automatic. It came with a remote starter that also worked yesterday.

It was parked overnight and this morning I went out to install the leather seats I have for it.

BUT, I tested the remote starter (having never had a vehicle with one before, I am eager to use it whenever possible), so I pressed the button and nothing.... Disappointed I got in and turned the key while pressing on the brake pedal. And an incredibly loud annoying SHREEEEK emanated from under the truck.

After a couple takes of trying to figure out what the deal was. (was securely in 2hi, was in park, etc...) I figured out that it would start up and run just great if I did not press the brake pedal. Well thats fine and dandy but why is it that when I delicate touch to the brake pedal creates a scream from under my truck.... I am hesatant to actually take it for a spin and hope that it screaches itself out on its own. I am not really that mechanicaly inclinded, so any help or suggestions you guys have would be awesome.

That doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm no tech either. Hopefully somebody will be able to help you. Good luck. Oh, and welcome to the forum.
