Exhaust Upgrade?

I have an '05 yukon denali xl - 6.0 v8. I am going to be ordering the Volant CAI and eventually a tuner. I want to achieve more HP, better acceleration respose, and better shifting. I've read the posts on exhaust upgrades. I've heard that just a CAI and tuner adds more benefit than the exhaust upgrade, for what I'm looking to achieve. I don't want a loud rumble or noise. The stock exhaust sounds pretty nice. But, I want to also add more horsepower by upgrading exhaust to reduce restriction. Is it worth it? Can anyone recommend an exhaust upgrade that is quiter than the conventional upgrade sound? I don't want that annoying loud rumble while i'm crusing on the highway - it can get a little annoying after awhile.

 

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

You cannot go wrong with CORSA. I have a very biased opinion, and this is my 9th CORSA system on a vehicle - I had 9 different rides...so far. No drone on the highway, and lots of fun around town.

do you feel an increase in throttle response and shifting as a result? what other mods do you compliment with?
