Add ons don't mean much to when it comes to selling a vehicle, and seeing how you don't have 4wd that makes the resale even lower. High miles also doens't help. But try listing the truck on like craiglists and see if you get any hits. I wouldn't mention the cold air intake, as those contraptions do not offer any protection from water, that is if you have the air filter exposed out of the air box.

Not sure where you live but in my area you wouldn't be able to give that truck away. I just traded a 2005 2500 HD with the 8.1 & Ally, 4 x 4 with only 36k miles. It had nearly every option and the truck was mint condition. It also had a lot of custom extras on it. Truck went for $13,000.

One never recovers the cost of mods when selling a vehicle. You might get a few extra hundred.

Doing a quick search turned up trucks similar to yours with similar mileage going for $8500 to $9800. The you could add a bit for the mods. To me the mods that would make selling points would be nerf bars, roll up bed cover, and b&w fifth wheel.

That sounds right. Mine is pretty similar without all the mods with only 34K an $7.5K was all I was going to get. Of couse this was actual market value.

The only mod that really benifits the sale of a truck is welling a truck with a plow. A plow is a mod that keeps on making you $$$$$! Gas has been dropping, so I think trucks values should start to see a slight increase over time if gas continues to drop and stay stable for X amount of time.

They are already climbing at auction, up $2000 from four weeks ago. A direct correlation to gas prices as you mentioned. They can't give away the Rams though.

Two wheel drive and high mileage will drag your value way down. Also the 5th wheel hitch may be a negative just because it suggests that the truck was used for heavy towing.
