I debabdged my tailgate tonight. All I have left are my 4x4 and the grille.

Love the clean smooth tailgate look. I peeled every one I owned. I just havent got around to completely do it on my '08. I left the "SILVERADO".

I guess I can understand taking it off to do it, but why the masking? I did mine while on the truck and it took me 30 minutes total to complete the job.

It was dark outside and a little cool.

 

I figured while I had it off I might as well polish it up. Few passes of swirl remover and a couple coats of wax. Taping it makes it easier to get close to the plastic. I dont usually do that for routine waxing.

I guess I am old because I do not get the debadging thing. My 20 year old tells me to take off the bowtie and Z71 sticker. I like it the way it is.
