Raise Or Drop A 2wd?

I'm unsure if I want to raise 2.5" or do a 2"-4" drop to my 07 Classic Sierra 2wd? There are a few trucks around here with a 2-4 drop, running 275/55/20's and say they can still haul small trailers with light loads? Look at this guys' truck I work with, he says he can still pull a big boat on a heavy trailer? What do yall think? I use my trailer every other weekend pulling a small zero turn mower and a load of mulch every once in a while. What do yall think?

Raised mine 2" in the front. Who cares if you have 2wd or 4wd, it's all about the look that you like. Myself, I like the looks of a 4wd truck, but live in Texas so have no need for the added expense of a 4wd vehicle, so I've got the best of both worlds.

Well, I went ahead and bought some 275/55/20's last night along with 2" drop spindles and 2" rear drop hangers. I already have 2" drop shackles on the rear. Now, for my next question? When I'm done with this, my truck will have a 2" front/4" rear drop on it. Will those tires work fine without rubbing? That pic in my first post has this setup. But, the guy who has it now is a complete moron. He didn't know what the drop was, height wise and tried to tell me that the Goodmark cowl hood, was a custom one off GMC hood that costs $2500 bucks and that this one was the only one they made. I thought to myself, while he was trying to feed me this BS, what a complete idiot. He also stated that the truck was an 06 and in fact, it was an 03.
