Possible Tranny?

Hay there, i have a 2000 chev with about 215000km on it, reg cab, 4X4 6.0. I just started to have this problem, it drives great but around 70km give it more gas, but i don't give it enough to downshift and it feels like a bad miss fire but no codes come up, that is why i am thinking tranny or maybe torque converter. also when going around 100km and going up a hill it downshifts up to 3000rpm and is fine, the shifts up again to 2500rpm and and you notice the stumble again, and still does it in 4th too. any thoughts? thanks mike

How long has it been since the truck was tuned up? Plugs, wires, filters? The simptoms would be similar. Mark.

yes but wouldn't plugs or wires be setting a check engine code? I have a scanner and there are no codes. Also i just got my tranny flushed and filter changes, no different.

I would think it would but possibly not. I would still lean towards ignition or maybe fuel pressure. Mark.
