O2 Suburban Ltw/autoride

well my parents are looking to get some new tires on their 02 suburban lt w/autoride... want a tire thats gona last... had some tires on it that were supposed to be "cream of the crop"... and 30k later there down to 1/8 of tread... no harsh driving just the occasional boat tow... give me your opinions... what would you guys recommend for a good tread pattern and a good life expectancy...

Personally, I would put the Michelin LTX M/S on the truck. I have those tires on my Suburban and they are amazing. I have about 60,000 miles on them with a lot more to go, my Dad has about 80,000 on his and he will easily get 10,000 - 15,000 more, and we both have the C load range tire too. They are so quiet, no road noise, best tire in my opinion. I bought them from BelleTire for around $600 a few years back, a little pricy, but well worth it.

thanks justin i appreciate your input i'm gonna take a look at them and see what kind of warrenty they offer..

 

they are keeping the stock suburban rims but they ran across a set of parelli scorpian atr's for 660 out the door, 70k mile warrenty.. i've never dealt much with parelli so if somebody knows anything about the quality of their tire please feel free to give me your input!

parents bought some transforce ht's...said they would do better with the fact that they tow allot with the rig... the old wilderness LE's lasted 30k and were bald as my dads shiny dome...

 

anyhow.. anybody have any experience with these tires? they look pretty decent, i rode in it and just like with my tires for load e's they still ride extremely smooth... let me know if you guys have ever used or had any experience with these..

Another vote for the Mich LTX M/S C range.

I have the 265/75/16 versions and I have over 40K on them and they really havn't even worn yet! Not to mention *knock on wood* they are hard to kill. I have curbed them and ran over stuff I shouldn't have so many times now... In fact my stock rims are bent lol, but my tires are still great shape.
