Stabilitrak/traction Control

When I turn off my traction control and fishtale my truck when I am already moveing everything is fine. But if I try to start a donut from a stop it doesn't wanna let me. Is it the G80 messing with me or can I turn off my stabilitrak (I know the stabilitrak is supposed to keep me from sliding but....) , or is there something else I'm missing?

P.S. Snow is on the ground I wouldn't be trying this otherwise. LOL!

With traction control ON, press and hold the traction control button for about 10 seconds. The DIC should display "Traction Control Off" and then (several seconds later, but while still holding the button), it should display "Stabilitrack Off."

Have fun & be careful!

1st of all, stop hitting "submit" multiple times when posting a new topic. That will avoid multiple threads. The site is experiencing difficulties, please be patient, it will post.

You can turn off Stabilitrak. Just hold the TC button in for 5 seconds and that will turn both TC and Stabilitrak off.

When I turn off Stabilitrak and Traction Control off in the rain my truck starts sliding when I turn or when I floor it in the rain. Stabilitrack and TC are good to leave on in the rain when somebody else drives the truck.

...and they're good to leave off in the rain, when you want to verify just how awake your passengers are...

No problem! It happens. The site has been acting a little weird lately. Multiple posts, when you only click "submit" once.. things like that. I'm guessing that may be what happened to you.

Take it easy!
