To Buy Or Not To Buy...that Is The Question

Looking at new 2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT1 4x4 Crew Cab.

 

MSRP - $36,615

Red Tag Price - $33,792

Rebate - $8,000

Sale Price - $25,792

It looks like GM just upped their rebates so I am even more tempted now. Just want to know if this is that great of a deal or should I wait it out and see what the week after Christmas brings me. How much more do they usually offer that week? I have never shopped for a car during that time before

 

I have also found a 2008 GMC SLE2 4x4 Crew Cab with the All-Terrain Package that is very tempting too. A bit more money, but more options including the power-folding mirrors which would be pretty handy.

 

Looking for all you Chevy experts out there to help a nooby out...

I just did - traded in my 05 Duramax on a 08 1500 Sierra. I am missing the turbo but liking the new payment and interior.

 

It's a 08 crewcab z71 4x4 SLT. The price you listed above is pretty good from what I have seen.

Throw 'em a lowball price of $24-25k and threaten to take your business elsewhere if they balk. Or have them throw some extra goodies at the sale price listed. This is a buyers market, take advantage of it... good luck!
