I went to www.gmnavdisc.com and make sure what disk I needed . I might have got lucky it said recall replacement for 25912408 paid the $9.50 shipping now just wait .I wanted to let yall know

Sweet deal. Much better than the $199 plus shipping for a regular replacement.

Did a quick check with my VIN #, came up with $199.

When I picked up my 2007 and the NAV DVD disk was not in the truck, I went to that website.

Called up the GM Nav people and they did a search on my vin, found out I was entitled to 2 free upgrades. So they sent me a disk...no charge.

Apparently, what they told me was that the GM Nav system, which comes with a DVD, also comes with 2 free upgrades. You have a call to get them.

 

PS. mine was missing as the vechicle was 2nd hand (imported from the US), and thus 'as-is'.

That's one thing that bothers me about the gm nav system is the expense of the stupid disk. They should of made them with the built in memory like alot of the after market in dash navs. But i guess its another way for them to make money : /

How hard is it to burn a copy of the disk?
