Gauge Clusters For 2004 Tahoes

I have read that the Escalade, Tahoe, Yukon, Denali, Silverado and Sierra clusters are interchangable. My Speedo is gone and I would like to get a tranny temp gauge, so I was going to look for a denali or escalade cluster to install. Is this true??

i would think. they are the same thing essentially. i just wonder if they would program to the vehicle correctly. if anything.. give it a shot. or install an aftermarket tranny gauge.

Im not just after the Tranny temp, the speedo step motor has gone, so I need to replace the cluster. I can send it off for a repair, but I cant be without the truck.

I have an 05 2500 cluster with the temp gage in my 1500 05. It was plug and play. The only thing you will need is to get the mileage programed. The mileage in these is only kept in the cluster, no where else.

I have another question, I live in Canada, but the Tahoe is out of the US. So can I put a KPH speedo in instead of the MPH?
