Rear Bumber

My 1999 Silverado 1500 was just recently rear ended and got some extra bucks to spend on a new rear bumber. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a new bumper? maybe an off-road bumper or stick with oem? also if anyone has any pictures that would be a big help too. thanks!

I think that your best bet is to check craigslist adds near your location and find something pretty cheap and use the extra money for accessories that you could really use!

 

IMO opinion rear offroad bumpers are pointless... Front offroad bumper's is what I would go for first.... but like I said that's my own opinion!

I'd go with OEM. Maybe color-match it?

 

And something I'll never understand, is why so many people type bumber, not bumper. The B and P are nowhere near each other, but it's such a common thing...

I'd go to a salvage yard and see if there are any trucks that were in a head-on or frontal crash. A rear bumper might be had pretty cheap.

Yup, I'd get OEM. Spend the extra $$ on something else.
