2009 Escalade Hybrid

Hello!

 

The new 2009 Escalade Hybrid has G.V.W.R. of 7500lbs. I'd like to know if there is anyway possible to modify/add something to increase that by about 300lbs., to 7800lbs?

 

I would need the vehicle's manufacture and/or it's representative (dealer) ok on it.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

legally, and safely no. Could you do it with some airbags and would the truck carry it, yeah...

Check with a facility/company that does conversion on new vehicles, or modifies vehicles before they go to fleet service.

 

I believe when a company such as this changes something structural, they reclassify the GVWR and GCWR.

 

The cargo vans the company I work for leases are reclassified by such a company to be under 10k GVWR for insurance and title/licence purposes.
