These have been out for quite some time and those who have tried them, IIRC, weren't really impressed with them. :dunno:

Just as easy and probably cheaper to go ahead and do the 9005 halogen mod to your foglights (if you have the Sierra, no quite sure if the Silvy foglight housings are big enough to accept the heat). I put 9005 Silverstars in my fogs when the truck was less than a week old, and have never had any problems even while running them 90% of the time my truck is on the road. I've thought about matching my fogs to my headlights by installing an HID kit, which is also easy just I don't have the time to play with finding ballast-mounting points for those lower locations. Regardless, the 9005 fogs by themselves are bright enough that they alone provide adequate lighting even with the lowbeams completely off. Exponentially better than the stock bulbs.
