Removing Drivers Side Door Glass On 2007 Nbs

After the door panel is removed and the 2 bolts are loosened that attach the window to the regulator, how do you remove the door glass? Does the window trim around the door need to be removed/loosened? Do you just pull the window out from the top side of the door? Any help would be appreciated!

  Excuse my stupidity, I have a 2016 High Country with 6.5’ bed. I want to pick up 1/2 CD wood which might be 1000-1500lb. Can the truck handle that?
