CIPA towing mirrors

I ordered a set of CIPA electric extendable towing mirrors from stylin' concepts and installed them yesterday. Installation was quick and easy, and man oh man, do these mirrors have a big viewing area. They are the same width as the stock electric mirrors, but about twice as tall. In addition, they slide out 4.25" for when you're towing. Although I've only driven the truck a couple of times with the new mirrors, I've found them to be very stable and a HUGE improvement over the stock mirrors. If you are looking to upgrade to larger mirrors for towing and hauling, these are the ticket. They are also available under the brand name Lucerix, but I found the CIPA at the best price. They are available in manual adjustment, electric and electric-heated (the power versions work with the regular truck wiring harness).

I have the factory towing mirrors on my truck.  Although they are very nice when towing, they stink for everyday use.  The right hand mirror isn't convex so I had to stick one of those small round dome shaped mirrors on there.  The drivers mirror is much better because it is sectioned out and has a convex piece on it to help with the blind spots.  I still think that the rearward view is at best poor, and I never change lanes without completely turning my head...

However when they are extended they are very stable and provide a great view of your trailer and what is behind you...

I bought the mirrors for $299 from stylin' concepts.  Their web address is www.stylinconcepts.com.  Mine are the power adjustable, but not heated.  I'll borrow the wife's digital camera and get a couple of pix loaded tomorrow.

Sorry it took me so long to get any pix uploaded.  I tried to show the front with the mirrors in normal position and also extended.  Check out My Truck under the pictures forum.
