I just replaced both batteries on my 2500 and now my radio is locked. I searched the forum and only found one thread that I wasn't able to access the links that were provided.

I read through my owners manual and it tells you to make up a code? Also when i push & hold the # 1 & # 4 at the same time nothing happens. However I get access to where you enter the 3 digit code by pusing HR or MN.

Any direction you can give me would be appreciated?

Push and hold the #2 and #3 buttons and hold for about 15 secs and it will display a 3 digit number, write it down, push the am/fm button and it will give you another 3 digit number, write that down. This is the 6 digit number you need to unlock the radio, email me that number or post it and I will call and get you a unlock number

When I push and hold #1 & #4 nothing happens? Held for at least 30 seconds?

Donnie,

Thanks for your assistance. I skipped the 1 & 4 step and went right to the hr & mn buttons. And Walla, I have tunes once again. Your the man. I will hang onto the code for future reference.
