04 1500 4x4 Leaking Inner Axle Seal

I recently replaced the right front axle seal for the inner axle shaft on my 04 Seirra 1500 4x4. Shortly after the new seal had started to leak as well so I pulled and replaced it again and am having the same problem. I have been told everything from it being the wrong seal to possibly a bad inner axle shaft. Has anyone else had this same problem? If so I would be greatful for any input. The truck has about 70,000 mile on it so I would hope it is not a bad axle. At $420 that would be a little hard to swallow right now.

Schucks. Non OEM Seal. Would that make a difference? If so where would you suggest I get one?
