5.3l Block Coolant Plugs

Hi,

 

I've searched and searched the web for an answer. I need to flush my '02 5.3L block and radiator and get all kinds of opinions as to if and where those plugs are. Haynes manual says they're there, but others say no and just drain radiator, refill w/water, run and drain, repeat until clear and then refill w 50/50 coolant. Seems any water left in block would make for over diluted coolant mix.

 

So is there block drains or not? Where does one install a block heater if not? Thanks so much....
