Blunt Cut Wires - Where?

I am looking for the blunt cut wires in my 2008 WT, supposedly near the center of the instrument panel. Are they near the rear of the gagues? These are the 9L4 wires, for switched 12v. Can anyone help me find them or a picture of their location?

Anyone know the answer to the first post?

If not, do you know where I can find switched 12v (ignition or preferably accessory) in the dash of this 2008 Silverado WT (where I can tap into and not screw up what else is on that circuit)?

Thanks.

What are you trying to wire up?

A Sirius radio dock. It's wired now to an unswitched circuit. The Sirius radio draws current when it's off (LED on off switch of all things). About 20mA. Since the truck sits for days at a time, I want to cut the power all the way off to reduce battery drain.

You should be able to tap into the radio's constant power wire in the harness that goes to the radio. Test light or VOM would make it easy to locate in the main plug. Just a suggestion.

I already have constant power. I want switched power.
