"need help finding an aftermarket item" just noticed i forgot the help part. it was like 4am when i posted this, anyways.

 

ok heres what we are looking for.

something like a headache rack, but without any mesh or bars in the way, it would not be needed to protect the window from anything, or kind of like a roll bar without any bars going into the bed that mounts to the bedrails or in the holes in the bed rails.  it would be used for mounting antennas and possibly some off-road lights. it would be level with the cab and be shaped similar to the truck. 95 and 97 trucks.

 

thats a weird discription, but its the best i can come up with right now without busting out photoshop and drawing. maybe by some small chance someone will understand part of what i said.

Steel Horse around $500

 

Fiberglass Lund cab extender air deflector...not good for antennas.  You'll have to insert steel mesh back to the bed to create the ground plane for the antennas.

i couldn't find anything but a light bar that mounts ontop of the cab from steel horse, i looked through just about all the sections of products they offer and nothing comes close, maybe i missed it. and i hate lunds with passion. but thanks for the help.

I saw it a Summit Racing Truck catalog.  It mounted on the bed rails, dual tubes.
