Wiring A 7-pole Recepatcle

I found the plug at the back of the truck that is supposed for wiring in a 5th wheel trailer. Apparently you can use those wires to just hard wire in a 7-pole. Here is the problem.

I am not sure what wires are for what function, and the diagram on the back of the plug in I bought doesn't match with the colors that are under there.

Can anyone tell me what the function of each wire under my truck is? The truck is an 05 silverado

what colors do you have??????? white, green, yellow, brown are the 4 nessacery ones

Why splice? There are plug n' play 7 way ends that will plug right in to the factory plug.

Here's the part numbers for a couple maufactors I know off the top of my head:

I'd return the plug you have now and go with one of these. It looks OEM and takes no time at all to install.
