Finally Ready For Suspension Lift... Which One?

Haven't posted on here in quite sometime, but I am finally ready to purchase my suspension lift.

Its an 08 silvy ext cab. Heres a link to the truck, the only things different now are I added black bolt-on look fender flares.

It has 20 x 8.5 rockstars and 305/55/20 pro comp xtremes.

What lifts will work with these wheels? I havent been around for a while, so I dont know if theres anything new.

These have a similar backspace to a stock 20" i believe, (they stick out just a tad more). Right now it has 33's but when they wear out I would like to run 35's if possible.

As of right now I am planning on going with the Rancho suspension lift, I guess its about a 5.25" lift from what I read on posts here. I wouldnt mind going bigger there were other lifts that work with these wheels and tires. (I am willing to use wheel spacers if necessary, I might anyway) Theres just not $2500 in the budget for new wheels and tires so this is what I'm working with.

Any other lifts that will work besides rancho? It would need to work with 4wd too.

I would just call all the lift CO's and ask them if they will work. That is your best bet. They all advertise a 4.5-5" backspacing. Not sure what your wheels are, but sometimes, other backspacing will work, others not. I don't think you should run spacers. They just aren't a good alternative as far as reliability goes.

Thanks for the links...

I found a kit that I have absolute confirmation that it works with my wheels, and its a 6.5" lift. I would like to get this over the rancho because 6.5"> 5.25". Main reason I like the kit is because its a 6.5"

I have the link here from ebay, I seen a guy here with the zone kit for a 2wd it looks good, but I have never heard of Zone Offroad.

It says there is frame bracket modification and minor welding involved, and the install directions are linked right on the page.

I am under the impression that most of these lifts have cutting and welding involved? Especially since I am not running a wild offset?

Seeing that this is my first lifted truck (i used to be into lowering street cars) I dont know what I'm looking for, it uses blocks in teh back but I dont know if they are stacked or not? Any opinions on this kit would be appreciated.

I just checked out that skyjacker 6" kit its only a couple hundred dollars more and it looks nice. It says no cutting of differential mounts, or tie rods, but is there some cutting involved with the kit?? I am going to be paying to get it put on because with my job I dont have the luxury of having the time to do it, so if one kit is easier to install than another, I will end up saving money on the install job, so It would free up more for the kit.

I am trying to do this project for $2,000.00 if I can (if it goes over not a big deal, if I can do it for less, even better!!)

The backspacing on my wheels is 5.14 and +10 mm offset
