Ebay Scammers Rick Lehecka And Paul Lehecka!

I purchased an alarm remote from these guys on ebay. I actually purchased it from Paul Lehecka (youremote24). I didn't realize until further emails that he was connected to Midwestkeyless Rick Lehecka). I thought it was all good because the feedbaclk rating was 99.6% positive. The remote was defective although the auction stated in big bold letters:ALL REMOTES ARE TESTED AND GUARANTEED TO WORK!!! ACTUAL REMOTE PICTURED!!

After many emails back and forth they kept trying to claim it was my alarm, not the remote. But the remote simply would not program to the car. (My wifes car actually) I finally took the remote for my truck(we have the same make and model alarms) and programmed it to her car and it recognized the remote on the first try. Even talked to the alarm manufacturer's tech support (which the seller insisted I do) and they said the remote must be dead. Then they finally agreed to take it back, asked me to ship it to midwestkeyless. After I paid on my dime to ship it back, they still didn't refund my money until 2 weeks later. And then he refused to refund the shipping charges. Which were extremely inflated to begin with. Now I could understand if I just decided I didnt want the remote, but it was DEFECTIVE! How are you going to charge me to ship a remote that is YOUR fault I had to send it back??? This is the email he sent me when I kept asking about the shipping charges:

"I'M SORRY, BUT I DONT LIKE TO WASTE TIME ON OBVIOUS PRICKS THAT WILL LEAVE NEGATIVES ANYWAY. "

I guess thats their version of customer service. I even filed a dispute with paypal, to which he has yet to respond. Its been about 2 weeks now since I filed the dispute. I then left negative feedback for him on Ebay, along with 8 other customers this month. Seems I'm not the only one they've been screwing. SO for the love of GOD, stay away from these guys!!!

If they were local, I'd go in there and pound my fist on the counter. Then maybe pound my fists elsewhere!

I tried that, Ebay doesnt care because he refunded my "purchase price". They said its not a rule to refund shipping, its up to the seller. It doesn't help me that they give ebay a crapload of business in auction fees either, these guys sell a LOT of stuff. Just beware of them, they might screw you. I'm not saying they screw everybody, but they sure as hell screwed me. Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of nice stuff for good deals(or so it appears that way). They had 99.6% positive feedback, but that just means they dont screw every single person, just some of them. I guess I fell in that .4% So I'm warning you guys to stay away, just in case, I dont want anyone else falling into that .4% as well. So if any of you guys are in the market for an aftermarket or factory alarm/keyless remote, make sure you don't buy from these guys even if they are the cheapest. Just remember, Youremote24 and Midwestkeyless stay away from these two!!

Well do me a favor and tell them I said I'm gonna whoop his ass if its the last thing i do! Tell him Scott from Louisiana sent you, give him a few taps across his knees with a louisville slugger while yer at it. :D They're lucky they are too far from me to drive there, otherwise I'd rent a ford and buy the damage insurance and then purposely drive it right thru their building.

Talk to Jas (Punmax), I hear he has some experience with this.

I am one of the thousands of people who have had good EBay experiences with that company Midwest Wireless. There was a mixup one time and I contacted them using the 800 number that they provided and they were very helpful sorting things out. They seemed as nice a group of people as you would want to deal with.

Sure ScottieBoy may have had a glitch in his dealings, and things weren't sorted out the way he would have liked (got his money back instead of the fob he wanted I guess, and both he and the company may have ended up out of pocket on some costs and/or time wasted).

But ScottieBoy seems to be a marginal character if he thinks that gives him a license to threaten others, to and encourage someone to go out and physically assault decent people who are trying to run a legitimate business and be fair with even aggressively abrasive individuals.

It's a shame when ScottieBoy hides behind anonymity and a sense of self-entitlement in unfairly attacking individuals.

That eBay company has something like a 99.5% approval rating. I'm guessing ScottieBoy's own wife wouldn't give him half that much approval.

For clarification's sake, you are not related to, know personally or are otherwise affiliated with anyone at that company in any way, correct? You are simply someone who's made an eBay purchase from them and that's it, is that right?

    • I was the GM of a Lincoln Mercury dealership back in the 80's. The service lot was always full with "broken" ones. Plenty of transmissions, power windows and a/c repairs. The only one I'd consider owning would be the Marauder at this point and it certainly wouldn't be a daily driver.  My 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate is my "Lincoln Town Car" in my retirement. I want all the "stuff". Big infotainment screens, one touch power windows, Supercruise (I won't buy another vehicle without it), hands free pretty much everything. I'm going to swap my current truck for a 2027 Yukon Denali Ultimate so I can have the air suspension and surround vision recording along with all the other "stuff".
    • Yep mine is on backorder also.
    • The Denali Ultimate's grille is tinted, but the "regular' Denali has a bright chrome grille like the current models.
    • Because that is IDIOTIC, much like this question. They've already been forced to do it by past administrations - why would you roll that back when it's a GOOD thing?  WHO IS ARGUING FOR LOWER MILEAGE???? 😂  NOBODY IS!!   I'm certainly not! What I want is RELIABLE vehicles again that are worth the price paid!    I don't get your logic here ...   In 2003 I paid $2,200 for our '86 Grand Marquis. It's STILL running and I've never been inside the engine, aside for the timing cover since it was leaking, so I threw a new timing set in since that makes sense. Transmission is ORIGINAL. Electric pump in the gas tank is ORIGINAL. Rear end is ORIGINAL. I'd have to hit my head REAL hard to want to pay $60k or more for a car that still can't come close to the comfort, seating and storage space, or reliability of this one. Nothing is even in the ball park! Hundreds of thousands of brands and models have been built and sent to the crusher while this one keeps on going!   https://postimg.cc/Z9XRrCSg   I've got a whole fleet of cars, motorcycles, and a truck close to this age for summer and winter. No one could pay me enough to buy anything built this century. I have zero use for any it.
    • Since I'm the one who has to fix them when they break, I'll take vehicles over 30 years old all day, EVERY day, over ANY modern crap. Have you attempted any repairs on anything built after 2006? It's a friggin nightmare, and gets worse the newer the model year.    If I had the will or desire, I can make any car of any age outside of a Model T (I don't have THAT much will ...) just as powerful, comfortable, and have all the tech the new stuff does, and get pretty close in mileage, too. I prefer SIMPLICITY. The less the vehicle has, the less to fix WHEN it breaks, not IF.   I'm glad you snot-nosed punks don't like them. More for us, plus that keeps the prices from climbing more than they already have.👍
