2003 Tahoe Door Locks

I'm having a issue with the rear doors unlocking or locking with the key fob on a 2003 Tahoe. Pushing the button once will unlock/lock the drivers door. Push it twice and the passenger door locks/unlocks. Thats all good. Now how do the rear doors lock or unlock? I thought it would work with the passenger door but it doesn't. Any ideas? Could it be the keyless entry fob? Sometimes it will work, like maybe once in a dozen times. It makes it hard to get in the rear hatch as well as it must be tied to the rear door function I think. Before I change the battery in the one and only key fob I have, what could it be?

Are they locking when you put the vehicle into drive? and vice versa in park?

 

Try checking the door relays. IIRC they are in the main fuse box.
