4 Wheel Drive Problem

Hi all - first time poster on this site (From Canada).

I have a2008 Chev 2500HD with just over 12,000 KM on it (about 9000 miles).Have ownedthe truck for a year and primarily use it to tow my FifthWheel Trailer.

Theproblem I am having is that I periodically getthe Service 4 Wheel Drive messageupon start up and the transaxle isautomatically in 4 low. Truck was atDealer for two weeks. They replacedthe automatic transaxle module and'relearned' some element of it. Ipicked the truck up and two dayslater the same problem was back. Truckback at dealer but it is anintermittent problem so they are havingtrouble diagnosing. Whendriving I feel a 'vibration' under my feetwhich feels like the truckreally never disengages from 4 wheel higheven though the light shows Iam in 2 wheel drive!! I am now in week 4without my truck and the dealer still hasn't diagnosed. They haveprovided me with a 2008 Sierra 1500 loaner - but just isn't the same.

Anyone else experience this?

haven't had any issues with mine, I've heard of others getting the module in the dash changed out but looks like they've already tried that on yours. I've never had mine in 4-low yet though...

Update:

Got my truck back today. They pulled the transaxle module out again checked all the connections and "relearned" it.

They drove it for a few days to ensure everything was working as expected. Seems to be fine now. I will drive it for the next few days, put it through the paces and see how it goes.
