Duramax Question

Can anyone tell me what kind of turbos come on the 01 to 04 6.6L duramaxes. Plan on using one on an up coming project

This has come up a few times over on PT.net..in short diesel turbos aren't ideal. You can buy MP70 turbos brand new for $650 or less.

Was looking for one for my hayabusa just looking for a cheap one really so ill probly just buy one of those new ones you were talking about

Its a fixed geometry turbo that I believe is made by holset. As for the specs I cant remember off the top of my head. As Sam said they are not a good choice for gasoline engines.
