Recommended Posts

Hi, guys. I live in Plano, Tx. Need running boards and a towing hitch and maybe a truck box.

Better to let dealer do it or do you know some good places in north Tx?

I dont know how far you want to go but you may want to check out Rock and Roll Offroad in Wichita Falls. They should treat you pretty good and are priced competitively.

www.rockandrolloffroad.com (940)696-1001

If you don't want to go that far, 4 Wheel Parts isnt too bad on pricing (not sure about the service). There are like 3 or so locations in DFW.

I would say stay away from the dealer if you want GM accessories parts (they will cost you $$$), they can be found for cheaper online.

Also check Ebay.

You should be able to find everything online far cheaper than in retail stores. Check out www.gmpartsdirect.com along with ebay, both places have really been a drain to my wallet.

Most mods are extremely easy to install. The only mod that was difficult for me personally was the leveling kit, but that's just because I had no suspension experience whatsoever. I probably would pay to have it installed next time. It took me a few hours and quite a bit of frustration.

As for everything else, it was a piece of cake, especially the side steps.
