2" Drop Shacles On Nbs

I'm thinking of using 2" drop shackles to lower the rear end of my 2009 ect cab Sierra 4X4. I'm doing it just to level the truck out and I see an added advantage that the tailgate will then be lower and it will make it easier to climb in and out of the bed. Is there any drawback to this modification? Will I have to realign the truck to adjust for the camber? Lastly, it doesn't seem it would but has anyone who's done it seen any effect on fuel economy?
