Ready Lift 2" Leveling Kit?

Putco Chrome Fender Trim?

 

Once the Snow Clears and it gets a little warmer out here in NY all this will be installed..... I might also throw in a 2" leveling kit as well... went to my local Truck Shop DeDona Enterprises in Yonkers, NY and they keep them in stock at the warehouse so I can get it anytime.... If anybody ever goes in there talk to Jim he is the man.. and stay away from the old guy he will rip you off.....If he is there go back later or another day when Jim is there. Jim has a 08 GMC Denali 6.2L all hooked up... The Truck is Sick..... Don't want to advertise there business on the site but do a websearch on the company and you might be able to get a glimpse of it.

 

I'll post pics once everything is complete....

Personally I have no idea why someone would want to highlight a fuel door. Buy hey, each to their own. Vision impaired maybe?

 

What would be funny thought is if someone shaved their fuel door and forgot to relocate the filler. Now that would be funny!

First off we are not accentuating the fuel door we are basically breaking up the plain painted look on the side of the truck... The Fuel door is the only piece of hardware that can be easily replaced. I have seen plenty of trucks on here with chrome fuel doors and they look good.

 

Also I have a ? mark next to the fender flares I am debating on whether I put on Chrome trim or a set of Bushwacker Bolt on Look Flares after I raise up the truck and but on some meats on with the stock rims.

 

Everybody has there own style so there should be no knocking on anybody here.. When you see the finished product you won't be knocking anymore....

 

It will be warm in NY this Sunday I will see how much I can get done and post pics.

i was just going to say... is a chrome bug defletor any worse???? although i dont think it looks bad.

 

anyways i think the chrome fuel cap looks good on some trucks, but everyone has different tastes of course.

Not a fan of chrome fuel doors, I think it's like trying to draw attention to a scar on your cheek, but whatever. I would not, however, under any circumstances, put on the chrome fender trim. Personally I think it is one of the cheesiest things one can possibly do to a truck. Chrome looks good, but only in moderation.

 

I also wouldn't put on any fender flares with the stock wheels, since they have so much backspacing. With a set of flares, the wheels will look way too sucked under the truck.

On certain colors I think the chrome fuel door looks good
