Adding A Tp2 Dual Battery

I am in the process of upgrading to the TP2 Dual Bettery option in my 2001 2500HD. I have removed the fender support and mounted the battery and tray. I don't have access to the service manual and was hoping I could get some help with the rest of the install.

Does anyone have pictures of an OEM install? I've got all the OEM parts but can't seem to picture how it all gets connected. Where does the isolator get it's signal for the key position? Any help is appreciated at this point. Thanks

I did this install. Here are some pics to start you off.

I've spent what feels like the last two days researching what is required to put a factory install second battery in my truck and this post with these pictures has been the most clarifying. There is a ton of information out there but the threads get intermixed with different year trucks, different methods of aftermarket installs, semi-factory installs, parallel systems and isolated systems etc.

I did find a parts list from one of the threads but I only ordered the tray, isolator, and hold down thinking I could just use some of the battery cable I have around here and put my own connectors on. However, it seems maybe some of these wires/cables have fuseable links in them and at this point I think I may just order the factory cables to get this job done and over with.

Truck: 2000 GMC 2500 SLT NBS with trailer package currently wired and in use with travel trailer. This truck has the unused connector hanging off the ac near the passenger side firewall as shown connected to the isolater in the above pictures.

Desired operation: Aux battery factory wired to be isolated from the start battery. Aux battery will be used to power truck camper or travel trailer. I want the camper to pull its power only from the aux battery. So I guess this means I want the TP2 option for GMT800 trucks?

What is the part in the above picture, some sort of bridge fuse? I don't believe I orderd this part. How do you have it mounted, is this how/where the factory mounts them?

Are there factory studs/holes in the firewall to mount the isolator or did you make your own.

Thanks

I know this is a old thread but how do you make that pigtail by the ac lines active. I ran my own wiring from battery to battery and have a isolator between the two and would like to use that plug to switch my isolator on.
