Murray Switches

So anyway im trying to fix my AC. All of the sudden it decided not to work. I dunno if its a short or not. Ive replaced the blower motor, Relay, resister, control switch. When i found the actuator switch to replace it. The whole wire from the switch all the way through the engine bay smokes. and the fuse is straight melted. So I recommend when you guys decided to replace switchs i dont recommend murrays
