Gmc 08 Sierra Stock Radio

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra extended cab with the single disc stock GM Radio. I have XM radio subscription and was wondering if the text on the XM and CD will scroll like the radio does for certain stations?

 

Any help would be appreciative.

On that radio as Far as I'm aware of XM does not show Text Song Info! If the CD has to have been written with CD TEXT it will show otherwise "NO TITLE" will show up!

it actually does theres like an info button u can push to get the song and artist on XM...

I understand the "info" button and how to view Artist on XM. My question is that is there a scrolling option that will scroll the info for the CD and or XM, similar to what the Radio does for certain stations.

Nope, not on that Radio!

My 6 disk GM unit doesn't even scroll the song titles for the CDs. I need to learn to hack all these computers via software to make them do what I want.
