wandering around on the internet at work after I corrected my last students homework, I ventured over to the BDS-suspension website and what do I find......my old truck's the FEATURED pride and joy, lol!

A co-worker has the same truck (wo lift), he likes the truck but said he would of bought a full size had he known the MGP's would be the same.

Most of the time I was in Big Rapids at Ferris State University. But, in the summers I came home to Cadillac. From the area?

 

Yeah the bed was tiny, the first thing I did was make sure my gun case and fishing poles fit before I signed anything, lol. The 4.3L was a stout engine. With 3.42 gears, it would pull through 1st and 2nd with no problem. Run 1st gear til 30 MPH and 2nd gear to 60 MPH and never get above 3500 RPMs. Gas milleage was decent for a lifted truck with 33" MT's. I could get about 18 on the highway, 15-16 on the freeway or in city.

 

Anyways, it put a smile on my face to see it again. My students all call me crazy for selling it, lol. God bless a rural community where everyone goes wheelin' or muddin'
