2500hd 6.0 Exhaust System

I just wanted to see whats everyone else thinks about that exhaust system on the 6.0. For some reason my truck (pictured in sig)seems VERY loud for a stock system. Someone has already came up to me said how good the truck sounds and what cat back I had put on it, (which for me confirmed what I had been thinking about the noise level) When I stopped by my local dealership (not the one I bought the truck from) I started up another 2500HD 6.0 and it did not sound as loud as mine (it was built in november of last year). Mine was built March '09. Has GM changed the exhaust systems since the beginning of the year?

 

Oh and I also took a look underneath, everything looks in place and nothing is loose.

 

Any input or thoughts?

Ha!! I was wondering if I was crazy! We think the same thing about our '05 Suburban 2500 with the 6.0. My wife says it sounds like a diesel. Regardless, it is louder than what I figured a stock exhaust would be, but it is pure stock.

that's the nature of that motor-doesn't bother me a bit!! Wouldn't want to go with anything aftermarket-way too noisy! Also the HD has a bigger exhaust diameter than the LD trucks have-could be part of it..
